Before You Apply: Introducing Your Manufacturing Capability

A useful supplier introduction explains who your company is, what it can provide, and the scope it can support with evidence. You do not need to send a complete technical package to begin.

Start with the business. Provide your legal company name, a business contact, and your CAGE code if you have one.

Describe your capability. Manufacturers can summarize product lines, processes, and materials in general terms. Authorized distributors should identify the product lines for which they hold written manufacturer authorization.

Explain your quality foundation. List current quality certifications or describe your documented controls. Detailed evidence can be requested during qualification when it is relevant to the proposed scope.

Keep the introduction non-sensitive. Do not send CUI, export-controlled data, technical drawings, credentials, or payment information through the website.

Understand what happens next. An application begins a qualification conversation. It does not establish approved-supplier status or guarantee an order. Supplier approval is recorded for a defined scope, and individual opportunities receive a separate review.

Semper Fi Services welcomes original manufacturers, machine shops, fabricators, and manufacturer-authorized distributors interested in supplying government requirements through SFS.
