AS9120 Preparation: Our Current Stage

Semper Fi Services is pursuing AS9120 certification, with supporting evidence being collected in the final stages of certification preparation.

Our preparation focuses on the quality-system controls relevant to aerospace and defense distribution: supplier qualification, requirement review, product identification, traceability, verification, document control, and corrective action.

Written procedures establish how work is intended to be controlled. Supporting evidence is needed to demonstrate how those controls are applied. Our preparation work includes bringing the relevant procedures and evidence together for review.

AS9120 certification has not yet been awarded. We will report a certification milestone when it has been confirmed.

For prospective suppliers, this work reinforces the importance of a defined capability scope and appropriate supporting records. Manufacturing capability, written distribution authorization where applicable, traceability, and quality controls all contribute to supplier qualification.
